Ride Around The Lake

About the Ride

Ride Around The Lakeis Illawarra’s very own charity recreational cycle that takes annually in May. The ride is about ‘breaking the cycle’ of homeless youth, by raising awareness and funds for Lighthouse Youth Initiative.

Hundreds take part, with a safe scenic course based on participation. It is a fun ride the whole family can take part in, not a race.

There is a 40 kilometre circuit that takes in Lake Illawarra, and more than 10 scenic suburbs, and a 10 kilometre cycle path event for younger riders and families.

Wilson’s Bike Hub provide support to this annual event by having our experienced bike mechanics on-site to assist any riders with any last minute adjustments before the ride.

Lakeside Reserve, Kanahooka
